Trying

Hi, this is my first post in a chat room ever. I am currently trying to get sober again. I am ready to start but I keep getting in my own way. I think I realized this time around I'm going to need some support besides my husband. He supports me getting sober and doesn't drink but I'm not sure he understands how HARD it is to stop drinking. I was sober from May to August and then fell off the wagon and have been on a three month binge. Today is day one. I think I'm going to have to take it one hour at a time instead of one day at a time...

Welcome. Hour at a time...minute at a time. Whatever it takes.

Read around the site. Lot's of good information.

Welcome, BeBetter.
I found AA meetings very helpful in early sobriety.
