Monday, Monday.

Glad to see you post here, HAS...you can see we are really pulling for your continued success and growth as a great sober full person! These honest updates are just exactly what we all need to post and to read. Thanks for being here.

Back to work. Have an important report due today to stakeholders, and a bit of bad news to give on another effort. Will be an intense morning, and I'm getting started now.

Looking forward to being relatively free again this eve and catching up on folks here, then. Good luck and godspeed to all in your Mondays!

I hope it goes as well as can be, Bix.

Yay, HAS. So glad you're making it work.

Elsa is a bit annoying. I actually saw the movie once but it must have been in drinking days because I don't remember much of it, or even if I saw it at home or the theater....hm. Oh, yeah (Googles) it was in 2013. I quit drinking in 2014. That 'splains it.

Making homemade chili today. The beans are cooking at the moment.

Glad you survived the Grandkids without any homicides Gilmer.

Good to hear from you HaS.

I believe my avatar is originally from Frozen.

Major disruption on London's rail networks this morning made for a late start.

I cannot believe what a moron I am. My granddaughter and my tenants’ daughter are so hysterical about Frozen that I figured I might as well buy it on Amazon.

Not a such bad idea, you say?

I bought the SING-ALONG VERSION.

Nuff said.

I actually rather like that song—I think it’s my favorite.

Too bad the guy with the cool harmony turned out to be a colossal dud! LOL!

*note to self* try to learn more about pop culture.

or not.

G'Nite, Mondayers. My chili was delicious, I had it over brown rice, topped with shredded cheese and avocado and a corn muffin on the side. Dishes are done.

I'm happy and now off to watch TV. I notice Netflix has an awful lot of Canadian and British shows these days. I think they must have teed off the American companies. Not having commercials doesn't really fly in Capitalism, now does it?

They have some good shows from a lot of countries—I’m thinking Ireland, Australia, and Denmark in particular.

Denmark? I haven't noticed Denmark - although they've started doing some other language shows like Spanish, Japanese.

My report is out to stakeholders, the bad news is dispersed, my DSL was down for about 6 hours in the middle of the day, but i still got the critical things done...just much later than i hoped. I then drove to town, to where Mom is living, made dinner for the two of us, and she just talked and talked freely the whole time. Very sweet. I just got back home about 10 minutes ago. In bed. Sigh!

The Bridge, a Swedish/Danish production is unmissable. Saga Nóren is something else.

Morning everyone. Just trying to motivate myself to get up and get ready for work.
Things have been getting on top of me a lot recently.... too much going on in my life. I know it's important to keep busy but really!!!!! So I'm trying to make an effort to do a little mindfulness and just do what I can.
Hugs to all
Xx

there's a British/French remake set in the channel tunnel & a US/Mexican version too. I can be a bit Aspergers-y at times, so I love Saga
