Took a long time to get to this point
So let's start with 5 months sober on 11.2.17. I've been here a few times on my road of sobriety. Just checked out of a in patient program to a out patient program. It's a little quick but family needed me and felt ready to start the next stage. I have this forum plus na and aa going. Going to Voc Rehab for job training. Have a side job to keep me busy. I need a sponsor, and a accountblity partner. I looking for a check in partner if anyone interested.bthank you guys. God bless
I cannot offer anyone a role of being a sponsor..as I have my own shite to work thru- but as Dee suggests- the more feed-b, the better. I have a sponsor - but I support him more than he does me now...be-c I use this forum and other stuff to grow and he got sober- then stopped thinking, believing the meetings and AA are his life. I respect this- but there is more out there. It sounds as if you have a comprehensive approach. Well done.
Hello and welcome to you. Yes, I agree, we are all partners here, check in anytime.
Be sure to take it easy and take care of yourself during this transition time. I remember when I left rehab I really had some adjusting to do and it took time to find my footing again. It sounds like you have got a lot of supports and positive things in place to help. Do add sober recovery to that list!
