Seven Days Sober
And the best part is falling asleep and not passing out after 20 years ofsleeping with the Chardonnay fairy. It's such a great feeling waking up clear headed and not to have to use Visine for my bloodshot eyes.

Thanks so much everybody. I am still in the infancy stage. I attribute my sobriety to this forum and a health scare. I have been a 2 bottle of wine a day drinker. Never had a problem with lab work in 20 years but this time my liver enzymes were elevated. I got scared sober. Lotsof support from this forum of which I am extremely grateful.

Congratulations on one week Lee! Wine was my downfall as well, January 1st will be two years sober for me, and SR has been the biggest part of my recovery plan.
You should check in on the 24 hour thread each day, it is a great place to commit to another 24 hours sober.
Also, join the Class of October 2017, you will have the support of others who have decided to commit to sobriety this month.
