Don’t know what I’m doing, but I know I need to stop
 

Hey all! I don’t know how to stop drinking, but I know I need to stop. It’s affecting my work so much because I’m hungover and dizzy all the time. I’ve tried to quit before, but I seem to just go back to drinking every night.

Welcome GoodNew Life. I was in the same boat as you earlier this year. I found these forums and the support offered here has helped me to get sober. My recommendation is to check in here often in the early days. It is hard work at first, but really worth the effort!

Hi GoodNewLIfe, this is a great forum and there are some very caring people here. Reading other posts helped me when the cravings hit in the early days, and I'm sure all the help I received made me feel I could do this. I hope you stick around.
