Starting Day 3 with trip to Cardiologist

Always dread this trip, even though I have a great doctor!

Good Luck! I too am struggling with my BP, mostly due to my drinking. I hope you receive good news from your Dr!

I hear you Bob. I was born with a heart defect (VSD) and had surgery at 43 and again at 50. My experience has been that while the cardio visit is still a bit nerve wracking it's much less so since I've been sober. I bet your cardio will be pleased to hear that you have decided to quit drinking, I know mine was.

Just got back. It went well. He's known me for 23 years. BP and all that was good. He last saw me 3 months ago and said I looked so much better now. I've gone most of the last 3 months without vodka, but have had a couple or 3 times when the voice in my head told me it was OK to have just one....................

Fresh motivation that if I can show improvements to my heart even with those bad days, how good can it get with no bad days?
