Class of October 2017 Support Thread pt. 2
waxfruit, put down the drink. It's just going to make everything worse.
I am so sorry about your friend's suicide...there are no words to make that better, but don't let his/her tragic end be a reason to hurt yourself.
Your mom? I won't even go there.
Please just pour out whatever alcohol you have left and drink some water, get something to eat and go to bed. Lock your door and leave a radio on.
I'm so sorry. You're not alone and we care about you.

Get a good movie, popcorn, diet root beer. Wake up in the morning sober and feeling good. Good to know you are still here and working on "it". Keep the strength!
Wax - Sorry to hear about your friend. Do your best and empty the bottle and do not drink. I am also sending positive thoughts your way. The chat room is here....join in if you need to talk about this now. LuLu

I'm really, sorry for your loss waxfruit - and for what your mom said.
Please don;t use this is an opportunity to beat yourself and get lost again.
It's obvious your friend was in real pain.
I'm sure the last thing they would want would be for you to get lost as well.
There are some really good thoughts on guilt and loss here

I tried filling the gnawing chasm of pain in me with booze too - it never works.
It just kept me in a holding pattern - I'd numb the pain but never allow it the chance to heal.
I know it hurts but you're not alone - let us help waxfruit.

I'm so sorry to read about what happened, Wax. I'm not really sure what to say exactly because I've been there too many years ago and know how complicated and devastating the feelings are. So I'll just say my thoughts are with you, and you have friends in this forum.
