Still clean and sober

I bet nobody would predict it but I haven't had a drink or any substances for almost 2 years, Thursday is my 2 year anniversary. I credit my one on one therapist, AA, probation and hitting bottom as driving forces, also a considerable improvement in romance. I don't remember ever feeling better in my life and it's still getting better. Once I was sure I really needed to stop the drink, the urges stopped, I don't have an urge to drink what so ever. So after drinking and drugging for 43 years out of my life, it's finally over (I'm 59 now.) It's definitely worth quitting.

Dan
