Day 48 and feeling down

So it's day 48 for me :) . I should be proud of that but today I'm definitely not feeling it. Seems like I'm in a bit of a slump... No energy, lack of motivation, feeling lonely and alone; Just a general feeling of depression. I know a lot of it has to do with my thinking, FEAR... Fear of the future, the unknown, feeling like my life is going nowhere. Beating myself up about how I handle my past. Not sure why else I'm feeling this down but I need to change my thinking with lots of prayer. Another part of it, is I feel like I always need to be doing something, to be with people. My social life is non existent except for all my AA meetings (thank god) I'm able to attend.
I know I'll pull through this slump, just need to connect more spiritually and think more positively. Thanks for listening everyone.

Hi hats

I think a lot of us fall into the trap of thinking if we can't drink we can't do anything social, and thats juts not true. Noone gets sober to become a recluse.

You could go to a movie, catch up with friends on a coffee date, or picnic, go for a walk, platy some sports, start a hobby or even volunteer in your community.

I really think balance is key to healthy mind and body?

Creating the the renewed you is part of sobriety. Finding new places to go, people to be with, lots of opportunities, try some different things. Something will click.
