Tripped and fell...
Over a curb! Was a reminder of the waking up with scrapes and bruises not remembering where they came from..This time I was sober and just laughed. I was with others that were drinking heavily and pretty sure they thought I was drunk..I wasn't. Ban curbs! Only a cut on my ankle and knee..no biggie. Still funny! I killed it at life size jenga(sp?) though!

Glad you're okay. A few months ago I was walking with my wife as I was carrying a freshly baked pie and tripped over a curb. Stone cold sober. I bruised a couple of body parts (ankle, knee, wrist) with the biggest injury being to my ego, but most importantly I somehow had the body control to save the pie.

Linner, it was bad enough that I had to take good natured abuse about tripping, but being able to point to the fact that the pie was okay definitely mitigated the fun my relatives were having at my expense. That several of my body parts were scraped was clearly secondary to the state of the pie. As it should be. :-)
Falling Up the stairs.....my soon to be 25 year old daughter is an extremely good athlete yet somehow manages to fall up the stairs a few times a year.
