Good morning!
Hi all...just checking in! Hope everyone is doing really well.
New, new, newbies; please don't give up! It IS possible and it's so much better.
Had a major emotional blow this past weekend, my ex wouldn't bring my child to the agreed upon location I was flying to see her. I DID NOT DRINK! It wasn't going to help, it only ever makes things worse! I dealt with it...and I'm proud of myself. I hurt, but I am strong!

Jules-I'm only on day 3, but am feeling what you said. Last night, my two year old fell off of the couch into the coffee table (ouch!). She is okay, but it gave us a scare! She then refused to eat dinner and had one of the worst temper tantrums I've seen! She was way overtired. We put her to bed early and all of us woke up in a better space today
So glad I didn't drink! Congrats on another day sober!

I really like reading these posts. It helps remind me of what I have to look forward to.
For the past couple years, I've developed eczema in my ear canals. Seriously, of all the uncomfortable places to have eczema, I'd put in one's ear at the top of the list. Had blood work done, thyroid is fine. Went to allergist, because normally it's caused by a food allergy--nothing. I was ultimately told that it's some kind of stress response my body has and was given a steroid cream to use when it flares up.
I'm thinking now....my body is telling me in more ways than one that it doesn't appreciate alcohol.
Oops...meant to put this in the positive changes thread. Can this be moved? 😧
