Checking in a little late due to getting wrapped up in an episode of Game of Thrones, but I made it. 48 hours sober. 2 full days. Day 2 was hard...I swear I must have prayed to the Creator a million times, asking for strength. And it was given to me. One thing I'm finding to be helpful to stop my racing thoughts is just walking in place. While I'm at work doing paperwork, at home reading or watching TV, something about the physical repetition calms me.

Here's my prayer for another day of sobriety, strength, grace, peace, love, and light. I'll check in again in 24 hours.
