I was there and I'm pissed! I saw people dropping, getting ran over by cars trying to flee the scene,ect...I also helped carry wounded out to strangers cars/trucks to be taken to the ER.. Utter insanity is all I can say! What a POS! I had a female friend get hit in the leg and her friend was hit in the back. I really wish the shooter didn't take his own life and I could spend 5min alone with him. That's where I'm at with this.

They're stable.. My EXAGF called me today, she knows me and knew I was there..But, I still can not sleep. I was raised in a military family and know about what they saw(when they talk about it),but...to see it first hand is another story for me! I'm shook up and angry. I broke down and cried a few times today.

Please take care of yourself DontRemember. I can't even begin to imagine what it was like to be there. Just watching it on the news makes me go cold. I'm so glad you're safe and I hope all your friends will be ok. This will stay with you forever, please take your time to try to come to terms with it. Thinking of you and everyone affected by this tragedy. Stay strong
I'm pissed at the elected leaders that hold moments of silence and send their "thoughts and prayers" but take no meaningful action to enact even the smallest restriction to gun ownership in this country. So long as the gun lobby continues to own these cowards, tragedies like this will continue to be part of "American exceptionalism" and the "unique American experience." Sigh. Sorry, I know politics are not allowed on these boards, but at some point this transcends "political differences" and simply becomes common sense.
And, P.S., I own guns and support the Second Amendment. But I also like it when people can go to a damn concert and not get gunned down by a lunatic.

I’m so dreadfully sorry, Heavencanwait—And what a horror to have been in the midst of the struggle! DR, you are a true hero.
I know we’re not supposed to get too much into religion, either—but you never saw this kind of mass murder in the past. I believe it’s a way deeper issue than just guns or trucks or bombs in the wrong hands.
Society no longer has any kind of moral code, no higher ideal to be accountable to. In my view, without some desire to comply with a Judeo-Christian ethic (even mere social pressure), American society has turned into Lord of the Flies!
I believe that good will ultimately triumph over evil, no matter how long it takes—Ralph escaped in the end.
I pray that the sane ones in our society will triumph, too.
