Second Sober Birthday Today :)
 

By that I mean the "actual day of my physical birth" birthday.

I am beyond grateful to be in my right mind, functional, awake, and fully present. Sobriety doesn't equal perfection or the kind of manic highs we got used to experiencing as drunks - but it certainly offers up a better chance at genuine peace and joy.

Grateful to be 45 today, and grateful for this community.

Also, I usually check and read SR on my phone - but today I am on a laptop, and noticed I have notifications and messages!!! Some of them are old!!! I promise I have never seen them before today!!! :) I don't get those on my iPhone - ?
