It's hard to get close to people in recovery. Tonight one of my closest friends in AA went back out. This person is an addict and the evil heroin/opioid is DOC.
So difficult to see. He came into a meeting completely high. Took him to a rehab. I hope he gets it.
It's so hard to get close to people as they are dying left and right.Hes lucky to be alive tonight.
Just sad.

He is lucky to have such responsible friends Jules. I hope he kicks the habit this time.

As the old saying goes, but for the Grace of God go I. I hope your friend is okay. Humans are one of the few animals that learn from others' mistakes so we can't waste them!

I can't sleep... horrible dreams.
I will never get used to seeing people high on Heroin. Haunting.
I've personally never even seen the drug. Thank goodness for small favours.
