It's been years since I found this wonderful site, and way too long since I visited. I'm back recommitting to sobriety. I made it five months at one time with the help of everyone here. I do feel that I've matured a lot emotionally since then, but haven't nailed down how I will do this permanently. For now I am holding myself responsible for my actions, checking in here daily and taking it one day at a time...

I think we need to be wiling to do whatever it takes - and for a while thats a big ask.

The more years I drank tho, the deeper the hole became and the more amenable I became to the idea of long term permanent change.

I hope you will be too CB :)
