A beautiful recovery miracle ♥
I found out today that a good friend from SR is getting married this weekend.
As many of you know, Nick (Goat) and I are getting married this weekend as well.
♥
And I wanted to share something with all of you....
I came to SR in February 2013 (I was here briefly a few months earlier but I wasn't sober), and joined the class thread. Over the years, there have been four of us who have stayed the distance from this class (four of us who still post in the thread and our amazing Dee of course) and, wait for it, as of this weekend, all four of us will have gotten married in recovery!!
One of my beautiful friends now has two little boys....and one of them was born on her sober anniversary. Yes, really.
Another has a bubs on the way, so our little Feb'13 family is growing.
Add to that I will be a step-mum to two incredible teenage boys in a few days and well, I think you can see where I'm going with this.
Recovery rocks. It more than rocks.
The blessings keep showering down, so much so that I am overwhelmed. And very very grateful.

I never would have believed that my life could turn out this way.....I still have far to go....I make so many mistakes, but with a program of recovery and a partner/almost husband who feels exactly the same way I do I am always accountable and always trying to be my best.
We really can do this, and we really do get to see our lives change.

I hope you have a beautiful celebration worthy of your beautiful souls.
