SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

This morning I woke up from the best night's sleep ever! I'm so thankful for that. A whole 8 hours! I'm one lucky girl :) (Compared to when I was drinking daily and getting 4-5 hours of induced sleep)

I'm so thankful for this community and all the people I have met thus far.
It's nice to not feel crazy when talking about your experiences with alcohol. Everyone is so very understanding and kind!

Today is saturday and it's my friday from work, in the past i'd go home and fill up my glass. But today i'm going out to dinner and a movie with my amazing and supportive husband! We are going to see that movie called "The glass castle" It's about an alcoholic father who can never get it together for his family. I think it's all quite relatable.

Also I started a journal a couple of days ago on penzu.com I think it will be such a huge part of my recovery...just letting out any emotions I really feel during this process.
