I just went downstairs in my jammies (a long T-shirt and shorts and bunny slippers of course) to pop something in the fridge. I thought the coast was clear but of course I got caught by one of the guys who lived here last year with us but is back for another year. He stood back to let me enter, looked at me up and down then stomped up the stairs to his room and locked the door. I know I keep myself to myself and I enjoy my own company but what did he think I was going to do I wonder?

I had meant to look for a new place with less housemates but after I fractured my wrist that kind of went out the door for the moment.

Oh well. At this point I'm beyond caring to be honest. Hopefully next year I'll get a place of my own. Life goals - they never end. And I do remember a time when my goals were to get a job and move out of my parents house, and I've done both of those. Now I would like to find a nicer place.

Contrats Tetra, It's nice to celebrate these little moments that show how far we've come.

I've been wanting to post a picture of my scruffy puppy since this thread started. I've finally gotten around to it.

Hi everyone! I can't believe I missed this weekend thread especially since it's about our furry babies. My dogs are my closest companions and I don't know what I'd do without them. And they get me out walking everyday. ...whether I feel like it or not.
I had a lazy weekend around here....haven't been feeling well so I rested a lot. My peaches are ripe. I bought a dehydrator and have had it running 24 hours a day. Dehydrated peaches are delicious!
Ok...time to go back to sleep. I hope everyone is doing well tonight.

Morning guys.
Had a pub lunch with Mr P yesterday, AV didn't like the fact that Mr P had a pint. I ended up feeling somewhat grumpy. Took me a while to pull myself out of it. I still need to do more work on myself to deal with Mr P having a drink..... I'm ok with most other people...... just feel sad ,jealous and somewhat bothered when it's him......
Suggestions welcome.
Have a good day everyone.
Hugs.xx

Hi, everyone! Thanks for asking about me, Sao. I had a good weekend. Was my weekend to work, so that is always helpful to keep me busy.

Tetra - so glad you are seeing great things in your life. And, weird behavior by your housemate!

Back to the pets - I have 2 cats, a dwarf bunny, and 2 birds. I would love to have a dog, but my work schedule doesn't make it feasible. Enjoying all the pics.

I'm glad you had a good weekend Julia, never heard of a dwarf bunny. Do they all have names?

An old fashioned cure for baldness is to put a rabbit on your head. From a distance it looks like hare. Pa dum.

I hope you are OK petals, I can be of no help when it comes to dealing with a drinking partner as I am a single saddo

This is our bunny. She is a dwarf rabbit (or was when we got her). I know she is overweight but she is still our fuzzy little baby even though she is old now.

They are a popular breed of domestic rabbit and are smaller than most rabbit breeds. Dwarf rabbits are usually kept as pets or exhibition animals. They are not typically used for meat or fur due to the smalll size.

Please note some of this information came from Wikipedia.

I meant to put this on this weeks weekend thread but it got to last weekend thread instead as I got confused as it's hard copying and pasting from tiny pic on a mobile phone. Hopefully it finds its way to the right place

Each of these furry friends brings a real smile to my face
I have lovely and comforting memories of each of my furry or feathered friends, and it's nice to see other folks' critters and know the pleasure they bring.

I'm a bit confused with "zombie" Weekenders threads springing into life so I will bump this one as it is the current version.

My dwarf bunny looks a lot like Tetra's but charcoal in color and even smaller. Probably a 1/2 or a 1/3 of the size. They are just little. I call mine a "bunny" and not a "rabbit" because she is so little.
