Reversing brain damage

I'm 3 years sober after drinking sensibly for 10 years. Prior to this I drank very heavily and wound up with a lesion in the pons. I've been discharged from my neurologist who has told me not to worry, however the pain seems to be spreading through my whole brain causing high heart rate. I'm popping vitamins like sweets incase I'm deficient in any of them. I'm currently taking care of my mum and have had some other bad things happen over the last 3 years so I'm wondering if it could be down to stress also. Please can someone help?

Last time you mentioned your doctor had diagnosed neuralgia?

If you think you weren't satisfactorily dealt with by your Dr you can always get a second opinion?

Yes, your best bet is to go back to your dr or maybe try a new one. Did your dr give you any information on neuralgia?
