I'm ready to stop
I just can't do this anymore. Had out of whack labs in November and kept drinking. Just ruined what would have been a lovely vacation but for the drink.
I'm 35 and worried I've ruined my liver forever.

Hi Ilovemydog! Great name. I love my dog too. And like you, I also got to the point where I was ready to stop drinking. So I did and you can too.
Why don't you book an appointment to see your doctor and talk about your concerns? None of us here can give medical advice but you'll read plenty of posts written by people whose physical health has improved massively since ditching the booze.
Sounds like alcohol has taken enough from you. Don't give it anymore. Do whatever you have to do to stay sober today. Posting here is a great start. See a doctor and work on a plan for recovery. Start building a life that doesn't involve fear, shame and regret. You can do it and we're all here to help.

I'm having panic attacks from the withdrawal worried I'm going to have seizures. I've had to have one drink to quell it I'm going to go get medical attention first thing tomorrow morning so that I can detox safely. Help
Okay, but don't keep drinking.
The panic is part of the withdrawal process - anxiety - racing heart etc. That is normal withdrawal. If you were to have a seizure, there is medical help at the airport - they have a medical team there. Try to relax.
Try box breathing: breathe in to a count of four (from your tummy, not your upper chest) - hold it for a count of four, breathe out to a count of four, wait four seconds before taking the next breath. Repeat several times, noticing the breath.

Oh god, my heart goes out to you. I experienced withdrawal symptoms at the airport returning from holiday too.....it was hell. But I survived. Get to a doctor when you can. Then you can start your sobriety without so much fear.
Take care.
