How much did you drink and what were withdrawals like?

I was sneaking drinks the last few years. Mostly pints of vodka 90 proof rot gut stuff. I would drink one, maybe two on occasion. At least one nightly.
I actually quit a few times.
I had feelings of dread. Like I was going to die. Blood pressure in the danger zone 180/85. Night sweats and insomnia for 3 days.
Then I finally made it happen for good. Over 4 years now.
