Day 12
Checking in day 12! Sober and feeling good about it. Had a rough day today. I have so much anxiety about my job. I hate it. Went to dinner with my husband tonight. We went to a place that has a nice happy hour. I was so stressed and I really wanted a drink but I didn't. My husband had a beer. I just couldn't relax. He wanted to stay and chat like we would when we drink. He got aggravated. I'm not in a great place emotionally. I'm home, safe, sound and sober. Be strong!

I'm also safe and sober in bed. Busy day as I worked, then spent most of the evening preparing for a meeting tomorrow. I volunteer on a state-wide advocacy board. Reviewing pending legislation can be a bit tedious, but at least I know I'll remember what I read!! (One time I went to the meeting hungover and not remembering anything I had reviewed the night before. It was awful.
)

I can't believe tomorrow is two weeks already. I don't know how long but it's been a while since I have had this many days. I'm feeling better physically, I have more energy, and I know I've said it before but the mornings are so much better waking up sober. I am planning on going to work tomorrow. I've missed the last 3 days to be at the hospital and I have a lot of anxiety right now with the thought of having to work. It's almost bedtime and I am hoping I can relax once I'm in bed and listening to my audio book.
I hope everyone has a happy & sober day/evening

I love to read about all the guys who have lots of sober time under their belts, so inspiring, but its also really nice to start this jpurney with all of you newbies as well. Hi Gradstudent, looks like we are both leaving the start line together, good luck.

Good morning! Welcome cuckoo and gradstudent, glad you are joining us in the August class.
I have a much needed day off work today, really looking forward to spending the whole day with my lovely daughter and gorgeous little grandson. It's also payday so a great excuse to buy him something nice!
So the weekend is upon us again and doesn't the AV just love that. Plans at the ready folks and remember, the AV is a liar. Not only is the AV a liar, it is a dirty, stinking liar of the lowest order and should not be entertained. Laugh at it, throw mental rocks at it, tell it to f*** off, but whatever you do don't believe a word it says!

Woke up on day 3 and i am in restrictive mode, only way i can cope under the unknowing what to do stage with my marriage as i am still feeling uneasy about the outcome. I do know one thing is that i wont and cant pick up a drink. I have been told i have to find happiness in myself and have no clue just as yet how to do that, never been taught to sry its hard to explain as i have number of mental health issues aswell which ive tried to explain before.
Anyway enough of that crap , will find a level today and stay sober.
