Trying to survive.

Hi everyone. Just wanted to introduce myself and invite anyone to offer me any advice in my journey. I have been in recovery for 10 days and thought I would open myself up to advice. Hope to talk to you all soon.

Use,

Basically...ime....getting 26 months clean has been about feeling uncomfortable and getting used to it.

As addicts we learned that euphoria is found after some booze. All our problems go away. Until we come out of it.

Booze is not unique. All the typical drugs make us feel euporic.

Booze is legal. So it is easy and accepted by the masses.

As addicts we have to get clean, understand we are going to crave for life, and build a sober life.

It is way better than going through life mentally altered.

I remember i am an addict daily. I thank God for my sobriety. Then i do my best to seize the day....sober as a saint.

Thanks.
