Day 3 (again.....sigh)

Feeling so awesome. Almost done with work on day 3. Besides feeling crazy bloated in my gut, I feel pretty awesome. Just want this bloated pressure feeling in my gut to go away.

Gotta keep this feeling. I want this to last forever. I know I'll get asked to grab a drink in a little bit. Planning on going home and avoiding any place with alcohol.

Best wishes to everyone else in this same boat of countless relapses.

Glad you are back!!
Try to also keep in mind that this is a progressive disease. If you continue to relapse you will not feel a fraction of how good you feel on day 3 sober. You will be brought to your knees.
I doubted it and chronically relapsed for 2.5 years. It was not pretty. I cannot go through that again.
Hopefully it sticks this time! You can do this!!

Hi Dee,
I have been thinking a lot. The most of my attention is how to address when the AV hits. That's my biggest concern as I have an amazing ability to convince myself it's ok.

So I am giving myself other options from calling a friend to walking to going to coffee shop or gym.

I've noticed if I can make it through about 30 mins the AV goes away.

Health is better than being drink any day.
