People in England drank gin excessively in the 18th Century. It is part of our heritage. I don't actually like gin. Maybe I'm just not patriotic.

I didn't mean that you're not special Taplow, just that you're no different to anyone else therefore if they can do it so can you. Like I say do check out Rational Recovery if you have not already done so, I think it would be suited to you.

Sober since 30.12.2014

"I'm drunk. I wouldn't be going on like this now."

i honestly and sincerely hope today finds ya a little less intoxicated and ya decide ya want to get and stay sober.

im pretty greatful i didnt have the net to read my drunk ramblings from the night before. i had some pretty rough mornings just remembering bits and pieces- embarrassment, guilt, shame... not a good feeling.

life sober AND simple is pretty good

I'm inebriated but I feel that I can pass on amazing wisdom that you can all share.
No offence but I'm not getting that from what you wrote - I don't think you will either.

How are you doing now Taplow? Did any thing in AVRT resonate with you - that idea of something controlling you for instance?
