Is anyone else starting to notice a late afternoon-ish look/feel to the day?

We have about a 70% eclipse at the moment. The sun looks like a crescent moon.

Very nice!!!!!

It got near-dark and very cold, very quickly. It's still cold here right now but warming up again.
All in all it was pretty cool, but next time I'd make the effort to go to an area of totality.

It hasn't reach near-darkness here but it has been very, very cool, nonetheless! We may have just a bit more coverage to go!

Saw it just a few hours ago just after sunrise. It was only partial here in the middle of the pacific. Thankfully the clouds cooperated, if only briefly.

Some of you folks might find this interesting as well...https://www.space.com/37018-solar-ec...ity-right.html

We had heavy cloud cover here - but I was very happy to see so many people enjoying it. We needed a break from all the misery in the world right now.

I bought fancy glasses on eBay for 2 bucks and enjoyed watching it thru the clouds with my son. My husband said he took a break at 1 pm cat and went outside with his welding helmet on. It was about 70% here in WISCONSIN. I even heard the crickets get louder for a little bit. 😂
