Worried/scared

So I recently got sober. Prob 10 plus years of drinking heavily. Pain that presented itself in upper abdomen but perhaps near stomach. Had blood tests and an ultrasound and doctor adiment that my pancreas was fine and showed mild fatty liver but no decrease in liver function. Could it be ulcer I know whenever I drink a soda or something spicy it immediately reacts with reflux and when I do a few days of prilosec pain goes away almost completely. Still worried it may be chronic pancreatitis. Any insight would be helpful!

Welcome to the forum. It sounds like your body has already taken a beating from the alcohol, you don't want to make it even worse.
Look into a sobriety plan to hopefully reverse this! The downside isn't pretty....

Hi deniedfish

None of us can diagnose you here because we're not doctors and giving medical advice is against our rules anyway.

If you're not happy with the the answers you've been given, could you see another Dr for a second opinion maybe?
