A(nother) time for change
 

I've been here before, and I've had success. I've been struggling lately to stay sober and fight the demons that come with it so I wanted to come back. Not sure what I want, but I just want to reach out again. I want the sober life I know back.

When I was new to recovery, I didn't know what I wanted either, I just knew I didn't want what I had.

I started looking at the people who were happy, joyous, and free.

I listened to them. I watched them. I decided they had what I wanted.

I took from their shares and started to do what they had done to get to where they were. You know what..., it worked!

Welcome back, StruggleON!

You can have the sober life you wanted.

"I want the sober life I know back."

I think that's key.

But find the hard part is that while actively drinking one CAN'T REMEMBER what that life was like.
