Day 45 and

....feeling good today. Have more energy, positive mood, and feeling a sense of pride in myself for this continued journey. I have done this on my own with no help. Cigarette and alcohol free another day!

That's great! I still need to kick the cigarettes, but I'm 10 days no alcohol today :)

I was mostly a weekend binger ( wine ) for a long time. Functional Alcoholic. I started in my late teens ( drank different drinks ) as more of a party girl. As I got older I pretty much drank at home alone. Never smoked all of my life until I met a guy who smoked. Picked up that nasty habit in 2001 (tried it when drinking) :-( Average of a pack a week, if not longer. 40 long years of the poison.
