So the more I've been sober the more I keep having these strange moments, like I'm having now, about how completely weird the world and life in general is.

I suppose I've been pressing pause on my life for so long now I'm not I'm back life an alien to normal reality.

For example, I read earlier someone on twitter say "Reading is when you stare at scribbles on a sliced up piece of tree while you hallucinate vividly".

The world is so completely bonkers, in a spectacular way, that I feel like I'm falling back in love with just life, in general. It's madder and more fun than I remembered.

I promise I am not high.

I'm not sure I find life mad, but even with the the way the world can be sometimes, I do find it joyous more often than not

Life is spectacular and it's so great to be a proper part of it again. When I was drinking I felt like an observer, watching life happen through a veil of misery. I felt disconnected; like I didn't belong.

It's amazing to be back.
