What a great place this is. Have been reading for months now. I am absolutely fed up being a drinker. Every night, it almost feels like an obligation. This is my day one. I have managed 90 days in the past but that was a couple of years ago. I am wasting my life. Hoping to find the strength to beat this thing. Thanks for all the posts on here that have inspired and helped me to get to this point.

Welcome! This place has been the difference for me. Trying to do it on my own was not working. I too finally feel I've turned a corner. The drinking life is no life.

I didn't make day two.... perhaps my post here wasn't dramatic enough to win support. I am going to keep on reading and try again in a couple of days time. Good luck everybody
