Need to make a plan for next week, hubby working away
 

Trying to put a plan into action, especially for the evenings as hubby is away all week and I havent stayed in this house (our new home) alone with the kiddiwinks before

Do you have some sober friends you can invite over? Or how about some of the kids friends and their parents and make a (kids) game night of it.
Probably hanging with sober people will help.
Take them to the mall, or a playground, go to a movie, dinner

ie, don't be alone at home with your mind obsessing about drinking

I dont know anyone yet, and the language barrier would be a problem, but I am thinking use the evenings to carry on painting the house, thanks

Yes, keeping yourself busy should help. Remember, you've got the kids counting on you to be there for them.
