Wish i could find an English speaking AA group
The only one I have found is 2 hours away and its all in French, I have my AA books which I will keep reading and lovely people on here, hard being an alcoholic in itself but in another country seems a lot harder when there is a language barrier
Here you go, from Google, English speaking AA meetings in France.

Hi, do you speak any French?
I live in Italy and although I am quite fluent at this point I do understand what you mean with the language barrier. However, at the meetings I went to we would often have people stopping in, a lot of Brits, Aussies and Kiwis from the yacht crews (I live in a port town) there was always some communication that happened, I of course could speak to them in English, they understood a little Italian from their work, and some other regular members spoke a little English.
You could give it a try and see if you are able to communicate or make connections with someone there who speaks English or wants to practice their English.

ya know, mummy, hows about showing up to a few different meetings anyways? maybe you can find a few people that speak english, too? the fellowship is quite remarkable and i would hope if no one there was fluent in english, they would be able to hook you up with some members that are.
They seem to be very limited here with aa meetings, I went too aa before where I lived in another part of France English group, for now staying on here and reading my aa books and peoples stories etc is keeping me ok for now, but if I start too get complacent I will go too a French group even if I cant understand them very well I will go, on foot if need be, Thanks
