Wowser day 10 tomorrow

Still can't believe I'm doing it,
Starting to feel good.
Went down the pub Friday and had 3 cokes and because I was being a responsible driver they were FREE!!
Going well so far,
Still in a bit of shock that I actually took the first steps to quit and now I'm actually doing itz
Day 10 come at me!

Why is "down the pub" still in your vocabulary? There's nothing there for you there. Don't taunt the AV by going there for any reason.

Congrats on ten days - I echo the caution about the pub -not trying to rub the shine off your success at all, but the pub can get you when you least expect it.

I was actually a DD a few times!! WAAA?
Crazy right?
But what a fabulous feeling.
Honestly if someone said 6 months ago that I, an almost half case a day beer drinker(36 packs) with a $500/a week cocaine habit would be a DD the drunk high me would have laughed, the honest, real, scared me cried thinking I was stuck in this chaos and craziness of booze and drugs forever with no end in sight
But I'm here to say it IS doable. One minute, one hour, one or 20 prayers a day and meetings and I'm doing it.
