4 months and major change in the air
 

I'm on overdrive.
4 months sober today.

Over the last few months I have been talking with a professional in my Industry who told me about a potential job in the area. I didnt think much of it. I didn't inquire for awhile as I was not actively looking for a different company to work for. After the third conversation with said professional through email and phone calls I finally sent out the inquiry.

What was just an inquiry has turned into potentially the biggest job of my working career. This company is offering me more than any company has offered ever. I have not been given the offer yet as they are coming up with a package that is suitable.

I just would not have been able to do this if I was drinking.

The best part about ALL of this is:
I knew my value and I owned it. I was not intimidated. I owned the interview. I asked the questions. I implemented the ideas and I ran all the way to the finish line. I was quite impressed with my strength and my approach. My work was complimented and they were very happy with everything that we talked about. A 2 hour interview.

I left there thinking to myself that I do deserve this job. I do deserve the pay that will be offered. I have honed in on my craft for years and now it is paying off. They know my value and want what I have to offer.

I could not have done this while drinking.

Wish me luck as I take on this challenge. It will be massive. Now to wait for the package offer........
