10 weeks today
Hi
Today is 10 weeks/70 days sober.
What a difference 10 weeks makes , 10 weeks ago I had a dreadful hangover , shakes , terrible anxiety , felt terrible and could not wait for another drink to make me feel ok again.
Today up at 5.30am a lovely morning feeling fantastic , then out to a carboot sale for 7.00am and made £200 by selling all the clutter I have been cleaning out the house over the last few weeks��
There would be no chance I could have done this if I was still drinking !

Congratulations on 10 weeks! One of the additional benefits of this site is learning the vocubulary in other countries. Carboot sale? Sounds like that equates to a garage sale in my neck of the woods. What is a carboot?

That is so great! Congratulations! I'm not far behind you and know just what you mean. Being able to be productive and actually enjoy mornings is a revelation.

Congratulations.
I believe i was sober on 9 May 2015. I drank until 6 pm on 8 may. Was still drunk on 9 may, but I haven't added any more since.
So, 2 years and 69 days. I crave sometimes, but I remember the hell I suffered.
I suffered serious kindling and PAWS. Now it is way better.
I am a non drinker. It feels good.
