8 months in from Alcohol and Xanax abuse, just looking for support and familiarities
 

Hey there,

So I'm 8 months in after Alcohol, then xanax, abuse....I have to say its been tough and still is. recently had a panic attack, had to go to the ER. It feels like I'm at the peak right now and have been there for about a week or so....hopefully things start dying down from here. Anxiety, and the ugly side of OCD are my worst right now. Sleep finally started regulating, every so often itll get bad. Nightmares. Currently dealing with too much thinking and too much deep thinking, about why we are here, creation, purpose, identity, God, everything. Gets tough some days....but im fighting through it, and I will get through this. Just gets tough sometimes....

You're right, it does get tough sometimes. You're not alone and I know you will find lots of support. Congratulations on 8 months of recovery!

We got any vets in the house that dealt with alcohol or xanax? advice or stories you can share 7-8 months in??
