26 Days Today

My longest sobriety streak since last year. It feels good, but I definitely have some anxiety about the future. This is the anxiety I used to drink into oblivion. But not this time...

Congrats on 26 days, TWTOM!

I know how you feel.....I'm reaching the same type of milestone tomorrow.....matching my longest stretch since joining (or rather since ever), and a lot of "what-ifs" go through my mind. Let's stay close to SR!

The deal is clean time. So far it has been better and better.

I crave a bit, but never regret my sobriety....especially in the morning.

The only thing the justified the hangovers...getting up to go to work at 2 am....was a very strong physical and mental addiction.

The physical is long gone. The mental seems to faded 90%....

Thanks.

good on ya!
"but I definitely have some anxiety about the future."

understandable. it happens often in early recovery. think about this:
you had anxiety 26 days ago about the future.
and here ya are 26 days into the future, which is now the present.

i used to live with one foot in yesterday and one in tomorrow and pee all over today. with T.I.M.E i was able to get one foot in here and the other in now and enjoy today.
