Congratulations!
Whatever helps...stay strong, you're doing so well. You don't want to start over again.
I really like what tomsteve said in another post (paraphrasing) "the only thing I have to remember is the day after my last drink. If I don't remember that, I haven't had my last yet"
I cannot & will not ever forget my last withdrawl. I don't have another recovery day 1 in me. If I drink, I will die. It is not an option.
Party's over.
It was such a blast at the end too, said no alcoholic in the throes of withdrawl ever.
You're doing so well..😊

I reckon it's ok to do this an easier way if there is one.

Great job!! Like you said, counting the days is a SUPER feeling.
Are you working a program? I know that without mine (AA) staying sober would have been infinitely harder and certainly made my life in recovery a much less calm and peaceful new life.
Keep going!
