I hope you'll continue to see (s)he.
Therapy was very beneficial to me. Wish I still had insurance..I'd be there weekly!

Ha! We rarely are as bad off as we think. Glad you resolved that issue. Now you have extra brain capacity to work on your sobriety!

Hi Chilled Ice !

I've been seeing a psychotherapist for the past few weeks too and it has been invaluable to me.

Glad to hear you are finding it beneficial and well done on having the courage to take the crucial steps to equip yourself with the support tools for long term recovery! :-)

Fist Bump.

Been a big help to me. My out of pocket cost is $35 per session. Great investment.

So true, it's an investment in health and wellbeing. Worth every cent as far as I'm concerned!

Good work Chilledice 💜

I recently finished 2 years of psychotherapy...the absolute best decision I have made (equal to sobriety to go on that journey...it can get tough but stick with it...it's worth it x

Great news, and I felt the same way after the first time ( that I wasn't really crazy or losing my mind! ).

I'm glad you talked to a professional who gave you support and that you feel better about things.

Isee a psychologist regularly- for the CBT regroup. Kinda like a guide on my life's path. A GPS check so I know where I am at. I also have a counsellor- who I see to talk through the addiction. Local knowledge on the path. Thebn a doc- for physical and mental (depression) health. And meetings- all of which are necessary. Ongoing support.

I know I am not crazy, I have been very unwell- and I AM damaged.
Good to get support and new info.
GOOD ONE!

I was really worried Anna honestly, was picturing ALL kinds of scenarios in my head...turns out that not only what I have is very common but also can be sorted out!
