Hello

I'm on day 14 of opiate withdrawal. I had been on pain management for about 6-1/2 years. I am forcing myself to eat and I have been drinking alot of water. I was at ER about 4 hours ago and was told that everything looked fine. I also take Zoloft and alprazolam for depression & anxiety. I also take blood pressure medication, beta-blocker, fenofibrate, & Prilosec. I have been taking a multivitamin, fish oil, garlic. I'm still feeling run down. Does anyone have any advice on getting this withdrawal process under control?

Thank You & God Bless

Dart,

Welcome.

I can't sleep tonight, but I am clean as a whistle.

I love posts that only have a few responses because I like to help folks.

Unfortunately, I never did pills. I was a plain old drunk. I was heavily addicted and kindled.

That is a bunch of drugs and if you stopped taking them cold turkey you would probably have a horrible time.

Only a dr. Can answer your question.

Imo...If you really want to get clean that is the route.

Thanks.

Welcome to SR, Dart,

This is a great place to be, I don't have experience of opiates but you will get loads of support here.

Good luck to you on your journey.

Hi Dart :)

I don't know much about opiate withdrawal except you'll feel fairly cruddy for a week or two and there's no way around it but through it.

Support really does help tho, so I'm glad you found us :)

past as often as you need too - welcome :)
