Hello again

Hi friend at SR. I am currently going through withdrawals again, I hadn't been drinking so much lately but enough to feel embarrassed to post on SR forums. I had three beers last night. Who would have thought that it would be enough to trigger withdrawal symptoms. I've vomited several times, unable to sleep, have the sweats, inability to keep anything down, terrified of leaving my room, the indescribable anxiety and high blood pressure etc.
Quitting is so hard. It surrounds me everywhere I go. I can't ever seem to get over the three week mark. I'm still trying to get out of the service industry. I am hoping it will help

Quitting might be hard, but it sounds like continuing to drink is not all that easy either. Make this your last day one!

Welcome back.
Have you been to a doctor? It might be wise to get a checkup just to make sure everything is in good working order.

Also, you CAN get over the 3 week mark. The 24 hr thread is a good place to check in. Join the June thread as well. Post here often or daily. We are here for you.

Hi,
The first 3 weeks are the hardest parts, so you're doing the hard part and going back. work through it. Stick close to the forums. Use this place to avoid any temptations. Worked wonders for me.

Welcome back cornpone

yeah my life was all about drinking so it took some concerted effort to change.

Have you considered going to AA or some other recovery group, or making a recovery plan?
