Lazy afternoon in the park...
 

This time 3 weeks ago I was in bed with an excruciating hangover after an 11 hour binge the day before, I was in pain and feeling extremely anxious.

Roll on 3 weeks of sobriety and I am lying on a blanket in a beautiful park under the shade of a giant oak tree which is at least 91 years old (the park was founded in 1926). I have a good book with me and I just enjoyed a picnic for one (my husband is at work...plus he's a city boy and not particularly fond of nature!!!!)

This is what sobriety is all about for me 😊 A happy sober Sunday everyone 💜

I've just ordered a padded blanket and a neck pillow to make things a bit more comfortable as I intend to spend many more afternoons in this park over the summer months 🌞
