Day 9

Had some minor cravings last night, but at least I now know they are from my alcoholism and not being triggered by excessive caffeine and Sudafed since I am off those now. It was more of a feeling of wanting to enjoy that buzzed feeling for a few hours with drinks. But I know the consequences of wanting to enjoy such a feeling are too great and severe, and so the better choice is for me to abstain.

Hey Freedom, glad you're here. I know just what that's like, when you want some booze but don't want it. I finally had to get all of it out of my house.

I remember a girl from rehab talking about how she knew about a bottle of pills her mom kept, and she just obsessed about it until she took it. At the time I was like haha, what? Me? Nah. But yes... Did the same thing but with alcohol. Get it out of your space as much as you can and have someone to call when the inevitable happens and you think about it.

It IS possible. Please stay with us!!
