Test results tomorrow
Tomorrow I go for the results of my annual blood work. I was almost 100% honest on my "alcohol use" questionnaire. Honest enough that a huge red flag would be flying high. I feel so worn down that I know I have vitamin deficiencies. I dread, but look forward to, "the talk" with the doctor tomorrow about my health and alcohol addiction.
Tomorrow begins a new chapter for me. A quest to get healthy. Mind, body and spirit. I will take whatever route the doctor recommends and will do what it takes to get well. I'm tired of feeling tired and worn out. Physically and mentally.
I will post tomorrow after my appointment.

I can totally understand the worry you might have regarding the test results. All I can tell you (and I'm sure you already know) is to try not to stress about it right now. You're doing the right thing by getting sober, and cleaning yourself up mentally, physically and spiritually. The past the is the past, and all you can do now is take the necessary steps to live a healthy life going forward. Sounds like you're in a good frame of mind about things, and being honest with your doctor and yourself is a big 1st step. If there is some kind of deficiency, or your lab work is a little off, then the doctor can recommend a course of action to correct it. Its all about what you do from here on out. Best of luck to you on your journey!

If he doesn't bring up my issues I will. You have given me courage to do so.

You may need to really lay it down that you have a severe drinking problem and need some options to tackle it. Be it from some medication, a referral to an addiction therapist, perhaps rehab, get everything laid out.
When I got sober, my sponsor sent me to see my doctor to get a full check up. On my way to the doctor's office, it occurred to me that I owed him an amend for the years of dishonesty about my drinking. I fessed up and it all went well. I wish you well tomorrow.
