Start up plans

Hey guys,

I've found so far today that spending some quality time with family members is helping the early withdrawal pangs. Actually being present in the conversation rather than listening to AV- it really is helping

Making sober plans too- I'm helping someone learning to drive tomorrow by taking them out to practice manoeuvres. I've set up a breakfast meet with my neighbour for next week.

Im out with my daughter having a meal now and we're having a good chat which is also helping

Will post again later......

That's great Stewy, I'm glad to hear this
Do you have a plan beyond this, or thinking of strategies to help keep you on this path?

I hope you have a great dinner with your daughter. Very happy to read this update

Sounds great Stewy. Enjoy the time with your daughter. When I was young I loved spending times with my Dad...just him and me. It made me feel special and I have many fond memories of taking rides with him, horseback riding or just watching him mow the lawn.

Keep up the fight Stewy! Your daughter will thank you for it one day!

I'm doing good thanks Stewy84...12 days here...was sober for 5 months last year but went back to alcohol...why oh why!!! However, I am focused and excited to thrive in sobriety...alcohol has NOTHING to offer me.

Have a fab weekend x
