I'm done!
I'm done!
It's been long enough, and I've said something to this many times before and failed miserably. I have tried everything I can think of... "I will never drink again, and I will never change my mind" Big Plan made, and made some big changes to my plan. Just sharing for another accountability reminder. Thank you to everyone who have always given support even when I consistently failed. Day 2, still miserable after a trip to detox. Done for good.

Hi Badger,
I know how frustrating and heartbreaking it is to be back at square one, when you've made so many plans and had such faith so many times before, that each time would be the last time.
We are all here for you though, and setbacks and stumbles are unfortunately just a part of our journey. It will make you stronger and you can now use that strength to stick to your plan and keep pushing forward. You can do this!
Just keep reminding yourself of your values and goals, every single day. It's one step at a time.
Best of luck to you.

Carl....yes., I completed the inpatient treatment. It was great, and I learned so much! The problem was that I was in a bubble and collapsed when I got back to the real world. I have asked for more help than I ever have now, and am considering a sober living house.

A sober living home isn't a bad idea at all Badger - but you may still find it a bit of a 'bubble'.
Whatever way you decide, I really recommend making a recovery plan. You have to face the real world and stay sober in it sometime.
