On Day 9, Day 8 Was Difficult

I'm currently on Day 9 and doing okay. Yesterday was similar to my Day 6 in that I was having major cravings. I actually went out and thought about buying alcohol at the store, but I turned right instead and bought a milkshake. I think there was about a 90% chance that I thought I would drink, but I ended up not drinking. So happy in the morning that I did not wake up hungover and having to deal with the obsession to drink all over again and starting all over again. Plus I had a lot to get done today, and it would have been torture doing it hungover.

Currently on Day 9 and relieved that the cravings have been minimal.

I know I just have to hang in there and use the techniques I have learned when the cravings come on strong.

The most important thing is you didn't drink, you are here, and you are stronger for it. Good job and keep going freedom.

It's hard at first but it gets better and easier. Hang in there.

Thank you for recognizing that because it was very difficult and almost felt like a leap of faith.

The one thing that I am noticing and realizing is that I never regret the choice the next day to not drink the day or night before, even though the AV makes it seem like the right choice to make. The more I am becoming aware of this, the easier it is becoming to resist the craving because I know deep down I will regret that choice immensely the next day.
