Successful completing Day 1

I plan to get up at 5 am to go to the gym. I should also have plenty of time to take the pups on a walk before having to get ready for work.

I work both jobs tomorrow so it will be an easier day. I still need to stay focused though. The temptation will be there when I get off at 9 pm to drink.

I am happy to be going to bed totally sober.

I am very happy for you, as well.

Fantastic plan.
And maybe: Post here first after work. Post here first after work. Post here first after work. Post here first after work.

WELL DONE ON DAY 1!!!

I used to start drinking around five or six everyday. It helped me so much to read and post here during that time. It really got me through the first few weeks. We are all here for you

Congratulations. Have you tried getting sober before? How long did you last? What would you change? For some people 1 day is a hangover day and a few days later, back at it. Keep posting here!

I made it 42 days back in 2014. I stayed sober while I was in the process of moving and was so busy. When I moved my job was so incredibly stressful, I lived next door to my boyfriend who has addiction issues and eventually thought "just one night of drinking". In 2013 I got 60+ days. Again a stressful situation I picked up again.

This post is helpful for me. Now I realize stress is a major trigger for me. I will read the info Dee sent about making a plan. I want to kick this for good.

I went to the gym as planned and am now getting ready for work. I work literally all day from 7 am to 9 pm. I will peek a read on here when I can and post if I can.

Here's to another sober day!!!

Hope that you stay that way throughout the day.

The days add up if we keep making the right decisions.

Good luck,
